Terms & Conditions -Axkid "Try-before-you-buy" Programme

Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the Axkid Try Before You Buy Programme (“Programme”) organised by SNS Products Sdn Bhd (581887-H) (“Organiser”). By joining the Programme, the Customer agrees to be bound by these Terms.

1. Programme Period

1.1 The Programme commences on 18 November 2025.

1.2 The organiser reserves the right to suspend or terminate the Programme at any time without prior notice. Any ongoing trials at the time of termination will be honoured in accordance with these Terms.


2. Eligibility

2.1 The Programme is open to parents or legal guardians with children from newborn up to 12 years old.

2.2 The Programme is only valid within Klang Valley, Malaysia.

2.3 By participating, the Customer confirms that he/she is at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding agreement.


3. Participating Products

3.1 The Programme applies only to the following Axkid car seat models (“Products”):

  • Axkid One+ 3 (suitable for 40cm-125cm)
  • Axkid Minikid 4 Max (suitable for 61cm-125cm)
  • Axkid Up (suitable 100cm-150cm)

3.2 Product assignment is based on:

  • The child’s age, height, and weight (suitability and safety); and
  • Availability on a first-come, first-served basis.

3.3 The Organiser reserves the right to recommend and assign the most suitable model for the customer child’s safety and to decline requests for a specific model if it is not suitable or not available.


4. Deposit & Payment

4.1 To participate in the Programme, the Customer must pay a 50% deposit of the full retail price of the selected Product (“Deposit”).

4.2 The Deposit must be paid in full before collection or delivery of the Product.

4.3 No separate rental fee or cleaning fee will be charged for the 1-week trial under this Programme.


5. Trial Period

5.1 The trial period is 1 week (7 calendar days) starting from the date the Product is collected by the Customer (“Trial Period”).

5.2 The Customer is responsible for:

  • Proper installation of the Product (or arranging for professional installation if offered); and
  • Ensuring that the Product is used according to the Axkid instruction manual and safety guidelines.


6. Condition of Product & Customer Responsibilities

6.1 The Customer agrees to take reasonable care of the Product during the Trial Period, including:

  • No modification, alteration, or repair of any part of the Product;
  • No writing, labelling, or permanent marking on the Product;
  • Avoiding exposure to misuse, neglect, or improper storage.

6.2 The Product must be returned in its original condition, subject to normal wear and tear, including:

  • All components and accessories;
  • Instruction manuals;
  • Original packaging (where applicable).

6.3 The Customer is responsible for any loss, theft, or damage (beyond normal wear and tear) that occurs while the Product is in his/her possession.


7. Transport & Collection

7.1 Collection of the Product is at the Customer’s own cost.

7.2 Any transport fees are non-refundable, even if the Customer decides not to purchase the Product after the Trial Period.


8. Option to Purchase

8.1 If the Customer is satisfied with the Product and wish to purchase it:

  • The 50% Deposit paid will be deducted from the full retail price of the Product; and
  • The Customer will pay the remaining balance of the full retail price.

8.2 Ownership of the Product passes to the Customer only after full payment of the balance is received.


9. Return & Deposit Refund

9.1 If the Customer decides not to purchase the Product, he/she must:

  • Return the Product to the Organiser on or before the last day of the Trial Period; and
  • Ensure it is in its original condition, subject to normal wear and tear, with all parts and accessories.

9.2 Once the Organiser has inspected and confirmed that the Product is in acceptable condition:

  • The Customer’s Deposit will be refunded to him/her using the original payment method (or such method as the Organiser may reasonably agree with the Customer).

9.3 The Organiser reserves the right to:

  • Deduct from the Deposit any reasonable costs for missing parts or damage beyond normal wear and tear; or
  • Withhold part or all of the Deposit if the Product is not returned or is returned in significantly damaged condition.

9.4 Late Returns
If the Product is not returned by the end of the Trial Period and the Customer has not confirmed purchase:

  • The Organiser may treat it as an overdue return and may charge fees


10. Safety, Use & Disclaimer

10.1 The Customer is responsible for ensuring:

  • The Product is correctly installed in his/her vehicle; and
  • The Customer’s child is secured and harnessed in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.

10.2 The Organiser strongly recommends that the Customer reads and follows the Axkid instruction manual and, where available, seek guidance from the Organiser’s trained staff.

10.3 The Organiser does not guarantee that a particular Product will be suitable for every vehicle model or configuration. It is the Customer’s responsibility to check compatibility with his/her vehicle.


11. Limitation of Liability

11.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Organiser is not liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental or consequential loss or damage arising from the Customer’s participation in the Programme; or
  • Any injury, damage or loss resulting from improper installation, misuse, or failure to follow safety guidelines.

11.2 Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.


12. Programme Changes & Termination

12.1 The Organiser may, at their sole discretion, amend, suspend, or terminate the Programme or these Terms at any time.

12.2 Any changes will apply prospectively and will not affect confirmed Trial Periods already in progress, which will continue under the original Terms at the time of booking.


13. Customer Reviews & Testimonials

13.1 At the end of the Trial Period, the Organiser may invite the Customer to provide feedback, a review and/or testimonial regarding his/her experience with the Product and the Programme.

13.2 Providing any review or testimonial is entirely voluntary and will not affect the Customer’s eligibility for a Deposit refund or his/her ability to participate in the Programme.

13.3 With the Customer’s consent, the Organiser may use his/her review or testimonial (including first name, child’s statistics, and vehicle make & model) for marketing and promotional purposes, including but not limited to the Organiser’s website, social media platforms, brochures and other marketing materials.


14. Personal Data

14.1 By participating in the Programme, the Customer consents to the collection, use and processing of his/her personal data for:

  • Administering the Programme;
  • Communication regarding his/her trial, returns, and purchase decisions; and
  • Other related purposes in accordance with the Organiser’s privacy policy.

14.2 The Customer’s personal data will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws in Malaysia.


15. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

15.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia.

15.2 Any disputes arising out of or in connection with the Programme will be subject to the exclusive/non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
