Founded in 2009 in Gothenburg, Sweden, the first country in the world to invent rear-facing car seats. Axkid has led rear-facing research for over 50 years, and continues to come up with award winning models each year. Sweden also has the least injuries and fatalities related to motor vehicle crashes as it is now the norm for their children to ride rear-facing until 6 years old.
